Moses was a legend—a man through whom God worked mighty signs and wonders. He spoke with God face to face, parted seas, and led an entire nation out of slavery. He was the Lawgiver, the prophet, the leader who shaped Israel’s destiny. A true giant of faith.

But guess what?

Moses was still just a man.

And now? He’s dead.

The Wrong Mindset About Spiritual Leaders

Some Christians act like when a great leader dies, it’s the end of an era—like God packs up His miracles and moves out.

📖 "Abraham is dead! Nothing will ever be the same!"
📖 "Moses is gone! Everything is downhill from here!"
📖 "David and Solomon are buried! Half of God's kingdom is lost!"
📖 "The prophets are dead! The power of God has vanished!"
📖 "Jesus ascended? Now what do we do?"

This kind of thinking separates spiritual winners from losers—those who lead with faith and those who get stuck in fear and nostalgia.

Moses Is Dead—But God Isn’t.

God didn’t tell Joshua, “Brace yourself—things will get worse now.” No! He said:

🔥 "Moses is dead. Now then, move forward!" (Joshua 1:2).

While the weak-hearted were crying over Moses, Joshua had already proven himself. He was a man in touch with the mind of God. Years earlier, when others trembled at the giants in Canaan, Joshua stood up and declared:

"Do not rebel against the LORD. Do not be afraid of the people. We will swallow them up because the LORD is with us!" (Numbers 14:9).

Now, it was his time to lead. And guess what? The same power that worked through Moses would now work through him.

🚀 Moses parted the Red Sea? Joshua will split the Jordan!
🚀 Moses worked miracles? Joshua will crush Jericho’s walls and command the sun to stand still!
🚀 Moses led Israel to the border of Canaan? Joshua will conquer it!

Why? Because God is still God.

From Faith to Faith, From Glory to Glory

Too many Christians live as if God’s power is a thing of the past. "The apostles are dead. The prophets are gone. The Church Fathers are history. The Reformers are long buried."

So what?

God is still on His throne. Jesus is alive forevermore. The Holy Spirit still empowers believers. The kingdom of God is advancing, and the gates of hell will not prevail.

✝️ The apostles may be dead—but you are still here.
✝️ The early church is gone—but God’s Spirit still moves today.
✝️ The Reformers have passed on—but God is raising up new warriors.

The men of unbelief tell us that the miracles, power, and gifts of God have ceased. But Jesus Himself declared:

🔥 "Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing—and they will do even greater things!" (John 14:12).

Keep Moving Forward

It’s time to stop looking back, stop lamenting what is gone, and start walking in the power of God today. If you have the Spirit of Christ, you are called to do greater works.

The past is not where the power is. The past is not where the miracles are. The past is not where God’s glory dwells.

🚀 The kingdom of God moves forward.

Moses is dead. The prophets are dead. The apostles are dead.

But God? He is alive.

And He’s saying to you today:

"Now then, move forward!"
